Export Wix to Framer to HTML

Add your content. Copy text from your HTML export. Import images from your assets folder. Framer handles responsive layouts through breakpoints, you'll adjust things for mobile separately.

Build the animations. This is where Framer shines. Hover states, scroll effects, page transitions. What takes an hour in Wix takes minutes in Framer. Experiment here.

What transfers: your content, images, domain (via DNS). What doesn't: any Wix-specific functionality. Forms need external services like Formspree. E-commerce needs a different platform entirely.

Framer's CMS exists but it's relatively new. For blogs or portfolios with many items, it works. Don't expect the depth of Webflow's CMS or WordPress. It's functional, not powerful.

The honest assessment: Framer is best for portfolios, landing pages, and marketing sites where animation matters. It's not ideal for content-heavy blogs or e-commerce. Know your use case.
